Grant, Just like the last manual PIREP you sent, per the SOP you need to provide proof you flew the flight, examples would be VATSIM, Volanta, etc. I will be denying all manual PIREPS that do not have proof of flight. Looking at your PIREP history, almost, if not every single PIREP you have submitted says SmartCars error. Do you need help getting SmartCars working? Let me know, we are here to help if you need it.

Good afternoon, Here are some options to try to fix your problem. Check User Privileges: Ensure that you are logged in as a user with sufficient privileges to run the application. If you're using an account with administrator privileges, try logging in with a standard user account and then running the application. Compatibility Settings: Right-click on the SmartCars3 executable or shortcut, select "Properties," and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that the option "Run this program as an administrator" is unchecked. If it's checked, uncheck it and try running the application again. User Account Control (UAC) Settings: Check your User Account Control settings. If UAC is set to always notify, it may prompt applications to run with administrator privileges even if not explicitly requested. You can adjust UAC settings by typing "UAC" in the Windows search bar and selecting "Change User Account Control settings." Reinstall SmartCars3: If the issue persists, try reinstalling SmartCars3. Sometimes, the installation may not have completed correctly or some files may have become corrupted. Check for Updates: Ensure that SmartCars3 is up to date. Developers often release updates to fix bugs and compatibility issues. Contact Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, reach out to SmartCars3 support for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps specific to their application. I understand that we've encountered challenges with smartCARS, and it's reassuring to know that we're on their radar for resolving our reporting issues. However, it's imperative that we address this promptly, as our current system doesn't accommodate manual PIREPs for fulfilling the mandatory monthly flight requirement. TJ W.
